I attended the annual APTA NY Delegate Assembly in Saratoga Springs this past weekend. It was fun to catch up with my colleagues from around NY and discuss business and motions in preparation for the House of Delegates later this summer. Some of the issues we discussed included barriers to people accessing PT including high insurance copays and difficulty with insurance authorizations. We also discussed pay equity and transparency, the improvement of health in rural communities, and social media marketing strategies. I'm looking forward to next year!
