What to Expect
At Perry PT Solutions, we don't think you should have to miss work in order to attend physical therapy which is why late appointments are available at no extra charge.
You can expect the full attention of your treating therapist to listen to your concerns. You won't be handed off to assistants or treated by someone treating other patients at the same time. Your care will never be influenced by what an insurance company will pay for. At Perry PT Solutions you get one-on-one treatment with an expert Physical Therapist focused on getting you back to the lifestyle and activities you deserve without pain or limitations. We monitor and adjust your exercises between your treatment sessions to help you get better faster.
You will receive a thorough evaluation in order to determine and address the source(s) of the problem. We provide one hour sessions of one-on-one care and use scientifically validated, evidence-based treatments, including state of the art manual techniques, to help our patients achieve their goals. We take a holistic approach to treating the entire person for a more complete and lasting recovery.
Direct Access:
Without a referral from you doctor, you can be treated for 10 visits or 30 days, whichever comes first. You will need a referral for physical therapy if your treatment exceeds these parameters. Everyone is different, but you can expect it will take 4 to 8 treatments, once per week, for a complete recovery. Post-surgical patients can expect a longer recovery time, depending on the procedure and your surgeon.
What to Wear:
Dress comfortable and wear clothes that won't restrict your movement. Wear athletic or supportive shoes and clothing that allows access to the affected area. If your discomfort is affecting your neck, shoulder, or back, a gown will be provided. For low back, hip, knee, lower leg, or foot injuries please bring or wear shorts. You will be able to change into appropriate clothing at the clinic.
What to Bring:
If you have a referral for physical therapy, please bring it. Bring appropriate clothing to change into and bring any intake forms you have completed prior to your first visit. During winter months, please bring a change of shoes as you are asked to leave your shoes/boots in trays outside the treatment room. If you are vaccinated for Covid, please bring proof of vaccination.
Your First Session:
Your first session will last 60-90 minutes. You will receive a thorough evaluation designed to get to the root of the problem and an initial treatment. We will discuss your goals and develop an individual treatment plan to help you achieve them.
Requirements related to the no surprise billing act (CMS-10791)
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

-
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

-
Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

-
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

-
Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
